ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿਖ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਰੇਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 30 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਚੁਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਮੰਡਲ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਮੰਡਲ ਅਧੀਨ 13 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਮੰਡਲ ਅਧੀਨ 17 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
