Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans on the last ball in the final match to win the IPL. Won the title of 2023. This is Chennai's 5th title and with this they have equaled Mumbai Indians' record. Now both the teams have won 5 trophies each. Every season also rained money on the players and many players became rich. 20 crores to the champion team Chennai Super Kings while 12.5 crores were given to Gujarat Titans who stood second. There, the trophy was given to Delhi Capitals as Fair Play Award. 

Gujarat Titans player Shubman Gill, who scored the most 890 runs in the tournament, was awarded an orange cap and Rs 10 lakh, while Mohammad Shami, who took the most wickets with 28, was awarded a purple cap and Rs 10 lakh. Apart from this, 10 lakhs to Yashaswi Jaiswal for emerging player of the tournament, 10 lakhs to Shubman Gill for being most valuable player, 10 lakhs for hitting the most fours, 10 lakhs for game changer of the season, 10 lakhs to Glenn Maxwell. 10 lakh for becoming Electric Striker of the Season, Rashid Khan 10 lakh for Catch of the Season, Faf du Plessis 10 lakh for hitting the longest six of the season
