The annual Amarnath Yatra is officially scheduled to begin on July 1, but as per the previously scheduled program, the first puja of Baba Barfani was held on Saturday, June 3, Jayesth Purnima, in which Mr. Amarnath Shrine Board was present. E. oh Senior officials of the administration including Mandeep Kumar Bhandari participated in the worship. 

The Him Shivalinga was worshiped in the holy cave along with the chanting of Vedic mantras and wished for a smooth and safe journey. This year, the annual Amarnath Yatra is 62 days long, starting from July 1 and ending on August 31, the day of Shravan Purnima
