Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will participate in the Tricolor Yatra in the state's Jind district next week as part of his party's campaign for next year's assembly elections in Haryana. The tenure of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will end on 3 November 2024. Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Gupta, who was recently appointed as the president of AAP's Haryana unit, said on Monday that along with a road show in Haryana's Jind district on June 8 to sound the election trumpet in the state. Tricolor Yatra has been organized. He said both Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will participate in the grand event, which is expected to be attended by around 50,000 people.
Earlier, Kejriwal held a meeting here with the leaders of his party's Haryana unit, who had come to invite him for this event. AAP National Organizing Secretary Sandeep Pathak, Gupta and other party leaders from Haryana were present in the meeting. Ashok Tanwar, who was recently appointed as the chairman of AAP's campaign committee for Haryana, was also present in the meeting.
