Punjab Public Works and Power Minister Harbhajan Singh E. T. oh has issued instructions to speed up the pace of development of the state by holding a meeting with the officials posted at the head office of the Public Works Department in Patiala. On this occasion, he also reviewed in detail the process of link road, plan road, culvert, bridge and building work estimates, management of tenders etc. under the Public Works Department.  

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to conduct all the work in a corruption-free and transparent manner while accelerating the development of the state. Therefore, the state's P. C. Repair work of 883 km long roads under I-1 and 2 and NABARD will be done very soon at a cost of Rs.678 crore. He instructed the officers and employees of the department that no compromise will be tolerated with the quality of the construction works while preparing the main infrastructure for the development of the state. Harbhajan Singh E. T. oh He said that under the NABARD 28 scheme, the repair work of 334 km long 41 roads is to be started with 245 crore rupees. So all arrangements should be completed on time. He also inspected pending works on link roads and buildings.
