Lakhbir Singh aka Gora Baba, who came into discussion in the case of theft of the traveling effigy of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji from Kalyan Gurdwara Sahib Ardaspura located here, was arrested yesterday from Baba's house. Ajnala under the leadership of Amrik Singh Ajnala, the mint and respect committees have picked up four copies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib along with a manuscript. Apart from this, all the books and pictures of the Gurus that were in the house were also taken away.
 

It may be mentioned that Gora Baba was accused by his daughter-in-law Jasbir Kaur that Safari Saroop had been burnt in the house by Gora Baba, his son and his wife because Safari Saroop was stolen. The case was quite complicated. Because of this, Gora Baba had to take strict action after the alleged stolen form by him was revealed, only then did he allegedly set fire to the traveling form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It is worth mentioning that in the past, Gore Baba's daughter-in-law Jasbir Kaur also accused Gore Baba's son of four marriages.
