The Supreme Court has dismissed the public interest petition related to the ongoing dispute over the inauguration of the new building of Parliament House. The Supreme Court has refused to hear the petition. Rejecting the petition, the court said that we know why this petition has been rejected. It is not the function of the Supreme Court to entertain such petitions. In the petition, it was demanded that the court direct the Lok Sabha. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building on May 28. There is a lot of politics going on over this. All the opposition parties are targeting the central government. Opposition parties say that the country's Parliament should be inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu, not by the Prime Minister. Not only this, so far 21 opposition parties have also announced a boycott of the inauguration ceremony. However, the NDA 25 parties including the party have announced to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new parliament building.
