Assistant Commissioner Gurmeet Kumar while giving information said that keeping in mind the crowd of ordinary citizens coming to get services in the service centers by the Administrative Reforms Department and in the continuity of the improvements being made in the supervision of government services, a new token system is now being implemented at the service centers of the district. The system has been launched. Under which the common people of the district can get the token online by going to https://connect.punjab.gov.in/ at their home.

ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਗਹਿਲੋਤ ਨੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ 100 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ 100 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿਚ 100 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤਕ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

23-year-old Amanpreet Singh Gill, a resident of Dayalpura village under Zirakpur, had gone to visit Sri Hemkunt Sahib with his friends, who died while sleeping in the hotel room. As soon as the news of the death of Amanpreet Singh Gill was received, a wave of mourning spread throughout the village. The deceased was the only brother of two sisters and was not yet married. After receiving the message, Amanpreet's father, who is working abroad, also reached his native village Dayalpura.

Patiala, May 28 United Kisan Morcha Punjab submitted a demand letter to MP Praneet Kaur regarding their demands today. On this occasion, the leaders said that the United Kisan Morcha had drawn the government's attention to its six pending demands in a letter written to the central government on 21 November 2021. The farmers' leaders demanded that a law should be made to guarantee purchase and minimum support price for all crops as per the 2+50 per cent formula, based on the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission.
