District Fahitgarh Sahib has claimed to solve the incident of robbery of more than 40 lakhs from the workers of a petrol pump located on Shershah Suri Marg in just 48 hours. District Police Chief Dr. Ravjot Grewal said during the press conference that according to the guidelines of Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav, the sensational incident of 40.79 lakh rupees, which took place at the point of arms from Bahad village Bhattamajra near the petrol pump in the district on May 29, was just 48 hours. 23-year-old Amanpreet Singh Gill, a resident of Dayalpura village under Zirakpur, had gone to visit Sri Hemkunt Sahib with his friends, who died while sleeping in the hotel room. As soon as the news of the death of Amanpreet Singh Gill was received, a wave of mourning spread throughout the village. The deceased was the only brother of two sisters and was not yet married. 300 units of free electricity per month are being given to domestic electricity consumers but many people are misusing the free electricity and using it commercially.
